Unidentified Flying Ontologies
For decades the topic of UFO’s and extraterrestrials has been viewed as a subject for crackpots and kooks. Something no respectable thinker or academic would touch. The conventional thought was that the people who talked about such things were obviously mislead or took one too many hits of the joint. Well that stated to change in 2017 when when the New York Times published a story on their front page detailing the Pentagon’s secret program to track UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon). Suddenly the public became aware that this is a topic taken very seriously by our government. It’s not just a fringe conspiracy theory. There is actually something very serious to this.
The revelation of the Pentagon’s secret program to track these objects in our sky demonstrating capabilities far beyond any of our current technological capabilities was just the tip of the iceberg. Not even the tip of the iceberg actually. More like a tiny piece of dust resting on top of the iceberg. In 2023, a whistleblower (high up in military intelligence) by the name of David Grusch testified in front of congress that the U.S. government has been running a top- secret UFO crash retrieval program for decades and in some of these crash retrievals there were “non-human bodies” recovered in the craft. Wait wtf. Did a high ranking government official just testify in front of congress that we’ve been collecting spacecraft and that aliens are real?? For those of us who’ve been following this subject for years it was cathartic to see this level of transparency on a national stage. For those new to this topic it was probably some mixture of confusion, shock, doubt and intrigue.
The reality we think we live in and the reality we actually live are often two very different things. What happens when a long-suppressed truth arises to the surface? The idiom that the truth will set you free is an idiom that has survived the test of time because it’s true and it’s real and it’s universal. The truth will set you free. But before it frees you it will also mindf**k you. The truth will force you to grieve a reality you thought was but wasn’t. The truth will disorient you. The truth will throw everything you thought you knew into question. That’s the paradox of truth. It both shatters you and liberates you at the same time.
The fact that there are multiple highly developed and technologically sophisticated species that have been visiting earth and interacting with humans is weird and strange and bizarre, to say the least. And I say that as someone who has been reading about this topic since middle school. It’s something my brain has learned to accept but yet also still blows my mind. It’s an extremely weird thing to come to terms with that we share the planet with multiple species of beings who are light years beyond us. As humans, we are not the top of the food chain. Far from it actually. Talk about an ego death. It makes complete sense on some level and it’s also very surreal at the same time. Of course our current technological development would have attracted visitors from elsewhere in the universe. But, also, what a crazy reality. The nature of truth is that it is often completely obvious and mind-blowing at the same time.
This topic is about so much more than advanced spacecraft and extraterrestrial beings. The UFO topic, once believed to be a domain of the fringe crackpot, turns out to actually be everything. It's political, sociological, theological, philosophical, and spiritual. It has to do with our collective epistemology and our ontology. How do we truly know what we know? What is our place in the universe? What is humanity meant to be in this universe filled with others? I truly believe lifting the veil on UFO secrecy will be a paradigm shift on every level. It has the potential to catalyze a political revolution. So integral to this entire storyline are the realities of government secrecy, stigma, and how narratives and disinformation are weaponized for certain agendas. As the truth about UFO’s and extraterrestrial contact is revealed it forces us to come to terms with the psyop (psychological operation) that has been conducted by the US government on this issue. Why do you think there has been so much stigma around this subject? It wasn’t an accident that this topic got relegated to the realms of the fringe. That was purposeful and intentional. The best way to hide a phenomenon in plain sight is to create a culture of ridicule around it so that no one wants to touch it. Academia hasn’t gone near this topic, science stays away from it, and those of who have been talked about it have lost credibility in the eyes of many. I’ve talked to people throughout my life who think I’m the one that’s fallen for a disinformation campaign due to my belief in the reality of this phenomenon. That way of thinking shows you how successful the true disinformation campaign has been.
What happens when Americans and other citizens of the world wake up to the coordinated psyop that hid this reality from them? Not everyone will just shrug their shoulders and move on. Many will be infuriated. This will be the kind of rage and indignation that has the potential to catalyze new political revolutions. As more and more transparency is brought to the real power dynamics that have created our modern world, the seeds for new revolutions are planted. The reason so much effort is put towards keeping the truth is hidden is because truth is so powerful that it can completely upend old structures of control. Darkness will never be a match against the Light.
We have to let go of the world that was in order to create the world that ought to be. We’re not in Kansas anymore. This is a new world we are entering. Illusions and false perceptions can no longer live as the light of truth just continues to shine brighter and brighter. It takes a mature psyche to be able to hold the both/and of it all. The shock, confusion, disorientation needs to be held side by side with the potentiality and emergence. There’s a long-told story from retired Air Force Colonel Phillip J. Corso where he saw a disc-shaped object fly across the sky and land a few hundred yards from the base he was stationed at in New Mexico. A young and bold soldier at the time, he got in a truck and drove to where he saw the object land. When he arrived at the object, he saw a 4ft tall extraterrestrial being standing in front of a landed craft. He got out of his truck and began to have a telepathic conversation with this being standing in front of him. The ET told him that his superiors at his base need to disable their nuclear weapons. “Whats in it for us??” the young soldier responded. The alien being took a slight pause and then telepathically answered “A new world, if you can take it.”
